Custom software
Think it,
I make it.
Websites, dashboards, automations, AI solutions and internal tools. Built by me, in Cape Town.
The work
Or you could use an agency
Plenty of good ones exist. It is worth knowing what the difference actually is before you pick.

Against a typical agency quote for the same job
Something real on screen, not a proposal deck

What you pay for
The build, plus the account manager, the project manager, the office and the people between them.
The build. Roughly half an agency quote for the same job, because there is nothing else to fund.
Before anything starts
A kickoff, a discovery phase, and a proposal. Often two to four weeks before you see a page.
A conversation, then a fixed number. Something on screen to look at within 48 to 72 hours.
Who you talk to
An account manager, who takes your change and passes it on to whoever is building it.
Me. On WhatsApp, usually within the hour, and I am the one who then goes and does it.
Who actually builds it
Whoever is free that week. Often a junior, with a senior reviewing it if there is time.
Me, every time. The same person who quoted it, from the first page to handover.
Asking for a change
A change request, then a scoping call, then a variation on the quote.
A message. If it is small it is done that day and it does not appear on an invoice.
When it is finished
A retainer for hosting and maintenance, and a platform licence you keep renewing.
The code is yours, hosted in your own account. No licence, nothing to renew, no lock-in.
When an agency is the better call
If you need brand strategy, campaign work, photography and a website all at once, you need a team, and you should go and hire one. Same if the job genuinely needs five people working in parallel to hit a date. I am one person who builds things properly and quickly — that is the whole offer, and it is not the right one for everything.
What people say
- Websites
He asked what our customers actually phone about, then built the site around the answer. Nobody had asked us that before.
Riaan de Villiers
Owner, Cape Roof & Waterproofing
- Websites
Quoted one number, invoiced the same number. In this industry that is worth saying out loud.
Michelle Adams
Director, Adams Interiors
- Websites
The old site had our brand colours as text and none of it could be read on a phone. He measured it, showed me the numbers, and fixed it without changing our branding.
Johan Pretorius
Pretorius Electrical
- Automations
We were retyping every enquiry into our job sheet by hand. Now it lands there on its own and I get a WhatsApp when something fails.
Nadia Isaacs
Operations, Southern Suburbs Plumbing
- Anything custom
I sent a voice note on a Sunday describing what I wanted. He came back with questions I had not thought of, then a fixed price.
Deon Marais
Marais Landscaping
- WhatsApp widgets
The quote widget on our site writes the whole WhatsApp message for the customer. Our enquiries went from vague to specific overnight.
Tasneem Khan
Khan Blinds & Shutters
- Internal tools
He told me one of the things I asked for was a bad idea and why. I would rather hear that than be sold it.
Grant Oosthuizen
MD, Oosthuizen Logistics
- Websites
It is fast, it does not break, and there is nothing for me to log into and maintain. That was the whole brief and that is what I got.
